Topic: The United Nations' Role in Global Health Governance: Framework or Follower?
Dr. Edquist, an expert on global governance policies, will explore what roles the UN has taken in the past and is now expected to play on such issues as disease prevention, emergency response to health crises, and mental health policy-making. She will be taking a closer look at the challenges the UN is now facing as it addresses many new social problems.
